       · One of the most productive hitters in Hartford baseball history.
· Ranks among the program's top five career leaders in ten categories, including the top spot in career batting average (.413), slugging percentage (.733) and single season RBI’s (58).
· Left Hartford as New England’s All-Time leader in batting average and slugging percentage.
· A two-time All-American third baseman who was drafted in the fourth round by the Boston Red Sox.
· Was a four-time All-Star, one-time National League MVP, three-time silver slugger award winner, one-time gold glove winner and earned Rookie of the Year Honors during a 15-year career with the Houston Astros.
· Inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 2017.
· Has been involved in numerous charitable endeavors, including the Children's Miracle Networks, Make a Wish Foundation, the Special Olympics and the Sunshine Kids.
