WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – The University of Hartford men's and women's basketball teams will host a doubleheader on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at the Chase Family Arena at the Reich Family Pavilion. The Hawks will also welcome special guest Lucky, the Boston Celtics Mascot, who will perform during halftime of each game.
The women's team will open up the action on Sunday at 12 p.m. when they welcome the Albany Great Danes for a rematch of the 2013 America East Championship. Thirty minutes following the conclusion of the women's game the men's team will welcome the Stony Brook Seawolves, the 2013 America East regular season champion, to West Hartford.
Both games are scheduled to air live on ESPN3 as part of a 27-game package the America East secured with the national sports network. Longtime voice of the league, Eric Frede will call all the action, joined by America East Associate Commissioner Frank Sullivan who will provide color commentary.Â
