Martin Announces Addition of 13 to 2018 Roster

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – Head coach Ryan Martin announced the addition of 13 student-athletes to the University of Hartford men's lacrosse team. The new members join 24 returners to comprise the 2018 team.

"We are very excited to welcome the Class of 2021," said Martin, who is entering his second season with the Hawks. "They have been an absolute pleasure to coach and be around this fall, and have already made a significant impact on our program."

Martin is creating depth in nearly every position for the upcoming season with the addition of three attackmen – Gavin Saylor (Slatington, Pa.), Christian Paley (Somers, Conn.) and Percy Booth (Onondaga Nation, N.Y.) – and six midfielders – Tyler Corpora (Macungie, Pa.), Carter O'Connell (Nepean, Ottawa), Andre White (Columbus, Ohio), Luke Postiglione (Manhasset, N.Y.), Justin Tkachuk (North Gower, Ottawa) and Alexander Smith (Bethesda, Md.).

The defense will also receive some added depth with the incorporation of defender Wade Tucker (Fallston, Md.), long-stick midfielders Quinn Amato (Naperville, Ill.) and Tyler Parkinson (Dix Hills, N.Y.) and goalie Nicholas Ferraro (Haddonfield, N.J.).

"This group of young men has represented the University of Hartford positively, and we believe they are going to have tremendous careers both in the classroom and on the field," Martin said. "The future of Hartford Lacrosse continues to look bright!"
