Played six years of varsity softball at West Babylon High School … was named West Babylon’s All Around Outstanding Female Athlete … a four-time all-county selection … named all-league and the Defensive Player of the Year … a four-time all-tournament team honoree … earned All-Long Island Second Team honors and was an All-State Sixth Team selection … earned the Sportsmanship Award and helped West Babylon to a New York state championship in 2008 … closed out the 2008 season with a .459 batting average and 33 RBIs, including a .656 slugging percentage … played summer ball for the Long Island Bandits Gold team … completed her 2008 stint with a .539 batting average and a slugging percentage of .816, while scoring 37 runs and driving in 25 for the Bandits in 2008 … also played four years of varsity volleyball and varsity basketball at West Babylon … earned all-league and all-conference honors in volleyball and was named the team’s most valuable player … an all-league and academic all-county selection for basketball … named the basketball team’s most valuable player.
