Caring Neighbor Program

The University of Hartford Athletics Department and the corporate community in the Greater Hartford area have joined forces to form the Caring Neighbor Program. Through the University and its Program partners, admission tickets are distributed to youth groups and civic organizations via ticket "grants." Caring Neighbor Partners pay a sponsorship fee that subsidizes the admission tickets. The admission tickets are distributed either by the University or through channels established by the Caring Neighbor Partners.

The community service initiative provides both the Program Partner and the University of Hartford Athletics Department an increased visibility in the business community.  Together, we provide countless opportunities for the youth in our community to experience positive benefits that sports and after school activities can’t provide.  Over the years, our Program Partners have helped to provide over $100,000 in admission tickets to allow youth to experience a men's and women's basketball game at the University of Hartford.
