Led the women's basketball team to a pair of conference wins over New Hampshire and Maine ... averaged 16.0 points and 3.5 rebounds over the two games ... also added six assists and five steals ... scored 17points and pulled down seven rebounds to lead the team to victory over New Hampshire ... finished 7-of-13 from the field and 3-of-5 at the free throw line, while passing for a pair of assists, grabbing two steals and blocking a shot against the Wildcats ... scored 14 of her 15 points against Maine in the first half, finishing a perfect 7-of-7 from the field ... finished 7-of-9 for the game ... also added four assists and three steaks against the Black Bears ... averages 15.2 points and 4.4 rebounds per game, while shooting 45 percent from the field in her senior season.

Led the men's basketball team to a pair of wins in their first two conference games over Binghamton and Boston University ... averaged 9.0 points and 4.5 rebounds over the team games ... scored 14 points and pulled down seven rebounds to lead the team in the win over Boston University ... scored 11 of his 14 points against BU in the first half ... finished 4-of-6 from the field and 3-of-4 from deep in 24 minutes off the bench against the Terriers ... scored four points, grabbed two rebounds and added two assists in 13 minutes against Binghamton ... averages 7.8 points and 3.0 rebounds per game as a rookie.

Led the men's basketball team to a split last week against Monmouth and 23rd-ranked Villanova ... scored 11 points in the win over Monmouth ... netted a team-high 20 points in his Philadelphia homecoming at Villanova ... it was the sixth 20-point game of his career ... he also hit four three-pointers against the Wildcats and moved into 10th place on the school's all-time three-point field goal list with 97 treys ... has scored in double figures in every game this season and leads the team at 14.7 points per game.

Name: Danielle Hood
Sport: Women’s Basketball

Hood led the Hawks in two victories last week, the first a two-point win over Big East foe St. John’s the second a 31-point rout of Hostra ... opened the week with a 16 point effort against St. John’s, scoring 13 points in the second half ... finished the second stanza 4-of-5 (4-of-13 for the game) from the field and connected on 5-of-6 from the free throw line, 8-of-10 for the game ... added five rebounds and three assists in 29 minutes against the Red Storm ... finished with 11 points against Hofstra, scoring nine points in the second half ... finished the Hofstra game shooting 3-of-7 and 4-of-4 at the free throw line ... also connected on her first three pointer of her career in the second half ... added four rebounds and three assists against Hofstra ... leads the team in scoring at 17.2 points-per-game.

Led the Hawks in their season opener at the Wesleyan Invitational ... posted top finishes in three different events, including winning the triple jump ... began with a sixth place finish in the 55-meter dash ... ran a 6.78 in the preliminaries but bettered that with a time of 6.73 in the finals ... finished second in the long jump with a distance of 21 feet 5.25 inches, finishing just one inch shy of the leader ... posted his best performance of the day winning the triple jump with a total distance of 45 feet 3.75 inches ... was one of four Hartford field performers to take the top-four spots in the triple jump.

Led the Hawks to the 29th Annual Jack in the Box Rainbow Wahine Classic, averaging 21 points over the three game tournament ... finished with 27 points, matching her career high, against UAB to open the tournament ... added 17 points against the host Hawaii and 19 against Virginia in the title game ... was named tournament MVP for her efforts ... averaged 19.1 points over four games last week ... averaged 54 percent from the field in Hawaii (27-of-50) and made 9-of-11 free throw attempts (818).

Helped lead the Hawks to their first conference victory in 47 attempts ... finished the week with double figures in kills in all three matches ... recorded 10 kills against both Providence and New Hampshire and 16 in the win over Maine ... had a .266 attack percentage over the three matches ... best attack percentage of the week came against Maine (.414), finishing the match with four errors in 29 total attempts ... also added four blocks against the Black Bears, seven total for the week ... leads the team in hitting (.233 attack percentage) on the season with 213 total kills and 83 errors in 580 attempts ... also leads the team with 66 total blocks.

Led the women's soccer team to a pair of victories last week ... scored the game-winning goal in the 53rd minute in a 1-0 win at Albany ... added a pair of assists in a 2-0 win over Vermont to clinch the third seed in the upcoming America East Championship ... each of her two goals on the season have come in 1-0 victories over conference opponents ... has two goals and three assists for seven points on the year.

Led the men's soccer team to a win and a tie last week as the Hawks opened up conference play ... scored a pair of goals in a 2-1 overtime victory over defending America East champion Binghamton University ... his first score tied the game in the 74th minute ... the final goal came with just under 90 seconds remaining in the first overtime period ... ranks third on the team in scoring with three goals and one assist for seven points.

Led the Hawks hitters over two matches last week, combining to hit .531 with 18 kills and just one error in 32 total attacks ... opened the week with seven kills against Sacred Heart in 15 attempts with one error ...  posted a .400 attack percentage against the Pioneers and also added an ace, a dig and two blocks ... in the conference opener at Albany, finished with a.647 attack percentage with 11 kills (her eighth game in double digits) and zero errors in 17 total attacks ... currently the team’s second leading hitter with 163 kills (.198 attack percentage).

Helped the men's golf team to a tie for fourth place at the Hawks Invitational ... shot a two-under par round of 70 on the final day to lead the Hawks, which tied for the low round of the day ... finished fourth overall at two-over par for the tournament.

Scored three goals over two games as the Hawks went 1-0-1 for the week ... scored a pair of goals, including the game winner, in a 3-0 victory over St. Peter's ... also netted Hartford's lone goal in a 2-2 tie at Marist, his first of the season ... leads the team in scoring with seven points.
