Fresh off the America East Championship where he took home second place honors in the 800-meter event, DuPaul captured the New England outdoor title in that event with a time of 1:52.21 ... the grad student became the first male track and field athlete to be crowned a New England Champion in Hartford history ... Sideranko scored a weekend low round of 74 on her way to the individual title at the MAAC Women’s Golf Championship in Celebration, FL. … she was also named the MAAC Rookie of the Year, honoring the freshman with the lowest GolfStat average throughout the season … the individual title is the third of the season for the rookie who also scored titles at the ECAC Championships and the CCSU Fall Invitational … Sideranko finished with a four-over par 76 in the first and second round, trailing by two strokes following the opening round and picking up one stroke behind the leader heading into the final round … her two-over par 74 in the final round was the lowest for any Hawk for the Championship and allowed her to finished with a six stroke lead over the runner-up, Catherine Shomo from Siena … Sideranko rounded out her freshman season with the Hawks lowest stroke average, 79.35, over 23 rounds.

Fallon notched a career day for the Hawks on Saturday in a heartbreaking 13-12 loss to the Binghamton Bearcats on Senior Day at Al-Marzook Field … the junior netted his first career hat trick while dominating the battle at the face-off X … Fallon won 22 of 28 duels while scooping up a game- and career-high 16 ground balls … after trailing 7-1 in the second quarter, Fallon knotted the score for the first time since the opening face-off at 7-7, winning the quarter's opening draw and maneuvering around the Bearcats' defenders for the equalizer … with a man down and Binghamton holding a commanding four goal lead, Fallon once again took control at the face-off X and went the distance for his second goal of the game … facing a 13-8 deficit, Hartford reeled off four straight goals, including Fallon's third goal of the contest … the midfielder entered the week with the 10th best face-off percentage in the nation while leading the NCAA in ground balls for the third-straight week with 8.42 per game . Doherty finished her second and third games in the starting lineup with double figures in each, finishing with 10 against Bowling Green to close out 2009 and then added a career-high 14 against Stony Brook in the first game of 2010 and the America East Opener.
