Competed for four years on both the club football and baseball teams for the Hawks.
Earned the distinction of being a two-sport captain and team MVP.
Played offensive tackle, defensive end and punter on the football team.
Named a captain in 1970 and MVP in 1969.
Played first base on the baseball team.
Named a captain and was the team MVP in 1971.
As a baseball player, batted .328 as a senior and .313 as a junior.
Paced the club in putouts as a junior and senior, and fielding percentage as a junior.
An active student leader.
Graduated from the College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions.
