  • Played first base on the baseball team.
  • Named a captain and was the team MVP in 1971.
  • As a baseball player, batted .328 as a senior and .313 as a junior.
  • Paced the club in putouts as a junior and senior, and fielding percentage as a junior.
  • An active student leader.
  • Graduated from the College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions.
