·          Instrumental in providing the leadership and direction to move Hartford's intercollegiate athletic program from Division II to the higher-visibility of Division I competition.

·          Had an 11-year career at the University of Hartford (1977-88), holding several administrative positions, including University Vice President.

·          Was responsible for many impressive capital improvements on the Hartford campus.

·          A strong advocate for the students and improved student life during his tenure.

·          Was also responsible for all enrollment-based marketing and promotion.

·          Always involved in activities which enhanced the University's status and reputation locally, regionally and nationally.

·          At the time of his induction, served as Vice President of Student and Academic Support Services at The George Washington University.
