·          Excelled as a member of the Hartford wrestling teams in the early to mid-1970's.
·          Ranks fifth among the program's scoring leaders with 126 points.
·          Enjoyed success as a collegiate wrestler, despite never having competed as a wrestler prior to attending Hartford.
·         Posted a 12-1 record as a senior, competing in the 142-pound weight class.
·         Defeated the three-time champion at the 142-point weight class to place third at the New England Championships as a senior.
·         Tallied a 9-5 record as a junior and finished sixth in the 134-pound weight class at the New England Championship.
·          Selected as co-MVP of the entire body of student-athletes in 1975, becoming the first African American to achieve that honor.
·          Currently a minister and Supervisor of Clinical Pastoral Education at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center in Philadelphia.
