  • A rare four-sport athlete at Hartford.
  • Served as captain of both the wrestling and lacrosse teams.
  • Wrestled for four years (1972-76) and left as the program's second all-time points' scorer.
  • Posted an 18-1 record in 1975-76.
  • Participated for three years (1974-76) in the Lacrosse program and set a then-single season points record with 24 (16 goals, eight assists) as a senior. 
  • Played football for two years (1975-76).
  • As a linebacker, set a single-game record with 24 tackles (nine unassisted) against Bentley.
  • Was a member of the tennis team in 1973.
  • An involved community leader as a member of the Jaycees, member of the Knights of Columbus, coach, mentor and church members.
  • Coached five sports at the youth and high school level: wrestling, baseball, softball, soccer and basketball.
  • Graduated from the Barney School of Business and Public Administration.
