Men's Tennis Falls to Marist, 7-0

In its second-to-last home match of the season, the Hartford men's tennis team fell to Marist, 7-0. Aaron Kooden and Edgardo Ureta had the match of the day for the Hawks, falling at Number Three doubles, 7-6 (7-3).

Kooden also had a strong showing in his pairing at Number Six singles. Although he dropped the first set 6-0, Kooden rebounded in the second to push Marist's Ian Sims to a 6-4 decision before falling.

Aneil Bhalla and Josh Isaacson each fought valiantly at the top of the Hartford singles ladder. Bhalla, playing at Number One, fell to Christian Coley 6-2, 6-4. Isaacson, meanwhile, fell 6-4, 6-2 at Number Two to Nicolas Pisecky.

Hartford concludes its regular season on Saturday when the Hawks welcome Boston University to the Hartford Tennis Courts. The Hawks and Terriers get started at 11 a.m.
