Round One Results
EDINBURG, Texas - The final test of the season for the Hartford men's golf team is underway as the Hawks sit tenth out of eleven teams after the first round of the 2010 America Sky Championship, played at Los Lagos Golf Club in Edinburg, Texas. The University of Texas-Pan American is playing host, and leads the way after Round One, a stroke ahead of Northern Colorado.
Zack Ungvarsky leads the way for Hartford, firing a first-round 79 to tie for 19th overall. Ungvarsky rebounded from a 43 on the front nine to card an even-par 36 on the way back into the clubhouse. The senior sits 12 strokes back of the overall leader, Brandon Reyna of UTPA.

Nick MacDonald sits just a stroke back of Ungvarsky, shooting a first-round 80 to leave himself tied for 22nd place. Freshman
Michael DiMeglio finished 42-40--82 on the day, putting himself into a tie for 31st place.
Senior
Maki Kobayashi, coming off an individual victory in the New England Division I Championship, went out with a 47 on Monday before rebounding to shoot a 41 on the back nine. His overall score of 88 leaves him in 50th place. Senior
Nick Pokora rounds out the Hawks, shooting a 49-50--99 to sit in 54th place overall.
Hartford will play its second round later on Monday afternoon before returning for the third and final round of play on Tuesday.
