Student-Athlete Development Center
The University of Hartford Department of Athletics opened the new Student-Athlete Development Center in October 2016. The facility will be the central hub for Hawks Academics.
“This facility gives our student-athletes a much more centralized area to continue their pursuit of academic excellence,” Director of Athletics Anton Goff said. “The Student-Athlete Development Center will only enhance our reputation as one of the top institutions in the region for student-athletes to achieve success in the classroom.”
The 2,700-square-foot space includes 18 workstations, with both PC and Mac available. The Center also houses offices for the three staff members of Academic Services, a pair of tutor rooms, study tables and lounge furniture for student-athletes to use anytime the Reich Family Pavilion is open.
Hartford earned the America East Academic Cup for the top overall GPA among conference schools in four-straight seasons from 2012-15.
