The University of Hartford Athletic Department is dedicated to continuous improvement when it comes to the safety and security of our student-athletes, staff, and guests on game days. As such, a clear bag policy was introduced and implemented with the start of the 2023-24 basketball season.

The athletics event bag policy will be enforced at all basketball games.

The following bags are approved but will still be subject to search upon entry:

·        Any clear plastic bag that does not exceed 12"x12"x6".
·        One-gallon sized zip bags that do not exceed 11"x11".
·        Small clutch bag, wristlet, or handheld wallet that does not exceed 8"x5"x2".

Guests are encouraged to only bring necessary items to an athletic event while keeping in mind that everything is subject to search and inspection.
