West Hartford, CT ? The University of Hartford Men's Tennis Team dropped its conference opener to the Boston University Terriers by a 6-1 score this afternoon on the Hartford tennis courts. The Hawks drop to 1-2 overall and are now 0-1 in conference play.

The men's team picked up one victory in doubles play but wasn't able to squeeze out a second for the double point but did earn a point with a victory in the third singles position. Artur Muller and Jeff Cote combined for the double victory at first doubles over Barrett Wolf and Giulio Gallarotti. The final score was 8-2. Cote continued his winning ways with a victory over Miron Nissim in third singles with scores of 6-1, 6-1.

The men's tennis team will close out the fall season with a match-up at Marist on October 7 at 12:30 p.m.
