KISSIMMEE, FL - The University of Hartford softball team wrapped up play at the Rebel Spring Games with a 4-1 loss to Yale University and a 2-1 loss to Mississippi Valley State University on Saturday.

Freshmen Brittney Stratton (6-3 overall) picked up the loss against Yale while classmate Gina Massaro (2-4 overall) took the loss against MVSU. Hartford's lone run against the Bulldogs came on a homer from Nikki Thompson in the fourth inning. Freshman Ann Kyzer also picked up her first career homer in the fourth inning of the second game for the Hawks' only run.

Hartford (8-8 overall) finished with a 7-3 record at the Rebel Games. The Hawks will next play a doubleheader at Army on Sunday, March 25 at 3 p.m.
