West Hartford, CT - The University of Hartford tennis team dropped to 0-5 this spring with a 6-1 loss to Providence College on Tuesday at the Hartford Tennis Courts. The Hawks only point of the match came at number one singles where Racquel Casino defeated Meghan Gilroy 7-6, 6-4.
The Hawks played tight throughout, not dropping an uncontested match. Kasey Michels and Liz Weiner scored six points in their sets at third and fourth singles respectively, while Stephanie Schnobel picked up three points in each of her sets against Allison Cohen.
The Hawks will be back in action when they host Hofstra on April 3 at 11:00 a.m.
