Men's & Women's Tennis Drops Home Match to Hofstra

 

The University of Hartford Men's and Women's Tennis Team faced Hofstra University on Tuesday in West Hartford, CT where the Hawks dropped a 7-0 decision for the women and a 4-3 decision for the men.

 

The Hawks men's team picked up the doubles point from a default and off an 8-6 win from Artur Muller and Kyle O'Leary.  Doruk Baglan and Jeff Cote dropped the other doubles match, 9-8.  Muller also picked up a point in singles defeating the Prides, Nenad Radakovic 6-4 and 6-0.  Hartford's other single point came from Aaron Kooden who won via default bringing the Hawks total points to three on the afternoon.

 

The Hartford women's team could not manage to pick up the doubles point dropping all three matches, 8-4.  The Hawks would also struggle in singles with their closest contest coming from Jessica Ruggles who dropped a 6-4 and 6-3 decision to Lauren Muller of Hofstra.
