BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. –Hartford fell to Gardner-Webb, 12-4, and Loyola Chicago, 8-0, on day two of the Runnin' Bulldog Tournament hosted by Gardner-Webb.
With the two losses, the Hawks fall to 0-4 on the season.
GARDNER WEBB 12 HARTFORD 4 (5 INNINGS)
With the score tied at one after two innings, Hartford took its first lead of the game with a three-run third inning, thanks to sophomore
Danielle Rocheleau's first home run of the season, plating senior
Kylie Dazalla and sophomore
Nicolette Barranger. That would however be the final runs of the game for the Hawks, as the Bulldogs scored one in the fourth and opened up the game in the fifth with six more runs to take the 12-4 victory in five innings.
LOYOLA CHICAGO 8 HARTFORD 0 (5 INNINGS)
Holding a one run lead, Loyola Chicago did the majority if its damage in the third inning, scoring five runs, on its way to 8-0 victory in five innings. Freshman
Kelsey Galevich hit a double while Rocheleau went 2-2.

- Rocheleau has played well through four games, batting .667 with two doubles, a triple, a home run and five RBI
- Kocenski (0-2) started game one, pitching 4.1 innings and allowing 11 earned runs on 13 hits and striking out one
- Junior Isabella Gerone (0-2) got the ball in game two, going two innings and allowing three earned runs on six hits and walking one
- Freshman Haley Cassidy hit her first collegiate home run against Garnder-Webb
