FAIRFIELD 4 HARTFORD 0
Hartford had its best opportunity of the game in the top of the first, as Rocheleau hit a double to center field. Freshman Brooklyn Aboulhosn then came on to pinch run for Rocheleau and moved to third after freshman Paige Fedak grounded out to second. The Hawks could not however capitalize, as Fairfield escaped the inning unscathed

The Stags scored their first runs of the game in the third inning, starting with a two-run triple from Rubin. Olaff then followed up Rubin's triple with a groundout to the pitcher, but not before Rubin came around to score to make the score 3-0.

Fairfield tacked on one more run in the fifth inning while holding Hartford to one hit over the final four innings to take the Sunday afternoon showdown, 4-0.
