"My favorite SAAC initiative is Better Together week. I am extremely passionate about advocating for the mental wellness of my fellow student-athletes. I think people underestimate how powerful a strong mind can be when it comes to competing and being successful on the field, which is why I love that SAAC uses this week to remind our student-athletes of the importance of taking care of our minds. We use this week to promote stress-relieving activities, information about mental health and provide any mental health resources that we have for our student-athletes."

About Julianna: Julianna is all about a team-first approach; she dives into everything that we give her. As soon as she started her career here at Hartford, she started breaking records on the mound and setting the standard. She is driven and wants to continue to lead the way on the mound and win an America East Championship.Â
2020-21 Goals: Our goals are to stay healthy, be there for each other, stay on campus and practice. Our main focus is to keep everyone healthy and stay together as a team. We have spring goals of competing for an America East Championship, but right now we are focused on the bigger picture of keeping Hartford safe and healthy.Â
