Haleemot Adeyanju has appeared in 12 meets in her two years as a Hawk. During her sophomore season, she helped lead her team to third-place finishes at both the Maribel Sanchez Souther Invitational and the UAlbany Preview Meet. Adeyanju recorded personal-best times in the 5k (19:16.0) and the 3k (11:01.6) in 2019.
Adeyanju is currently enrolled in the Barney School of Business and is working towards a degree in business management, with hopes of a career in the marketing field. The junior's hard work in the classroom contributed to a 3.65 team GPA in the Fall 2019 semester, earning the top spot in the America East Conference and USTFCCCA All-Academic Team distinction.

About Haleemot: Haleemot is a mainstay for our distance squad. Every meet she just gets better and better. She was named one of the top female performers among all Hartford freshmen in the 2018-19 academic year, which has a lot to do with how she embraces cross country and how it helps her with her track training.
2020-21 Goals: We're extremely young. This semester we only have one junior among a team of freshmen and sophomores. We hope to build up our mileage and ease the rookies into the Fall with the hope we can
compete soon.
