Marisa Lee dropped a season-high 10 points as the Hartford women's basketball team dropped a 73-53 decision to Northeastern on Sunday. The Hawks dip to 0-8 on the season while the Huskies improve to 6-2.

Northeastern jumped out to an early 10-2 lead before Lee ended the Huskies hot streak with a hook shot. The Huskies responded with 6-0 run to gain a 12-point advantage and take a 17-9 lead after the first quarter. Northeastern continued its momentum in the second quarter, starting on an 11-3 run, leading 30-10 with 5:09 remaining in the half. Hartford would start to fight back late as buckets from

Nina Farkic shrunk the gap to 12, but the Huskies would enter the halftime break up, 36-22.
After the break, Hartford closed the gap to 10, utilizing a 7-2 run, capped off by an and-one play from Lee with 3:15 left in the third quarter. However, Northeastern extended its lead after ending the third quarter on a 7-2 run to lead, 51-37 after three quarters. The sides went back-and-forth in the fourth quarter as the Huskies maintained a 60-44 lead with 5:05 left in the game. The lead would prove to be too much, as the Hawks fell to Northeastern, 73-53.
