LOWELL, Mass. – The Hartford outdoor track and field team had a stellar showing at the America East Outdoor Track and Field Championships as the women's team finish in a program-best sixth place. Highlighting the women's team was senior
Elizabeth Lodge, who took home the gold medal in both the heptathlon and high jump events. On the men's side, graduate student
Terrel Davis etched his name into the conference's record books, breaking the America East's 20-year-old long jump record en route to claiming the gold medal in the event.
Senior
Abby Myers received the conference's Elite 18 Award, posting a perfect 4.0 GPA as a biochemistry major. The award is bestowed upon the top-three medalist with the highest GPA.

HARTFORD MEN HIGHLIGHTS
· The Hawks finished ahead of conference newcomer NJIT in the team standings
· The men's team finished with seven points finishers, including one first place finisher and two silver medal honors
· Davis claimed first place in the long jump after hitting the sand in a new conference-best and program best 7.60m on Saturday to earn All-Conference honors
· Davis wrapped up his stellar weekend with a fifth-place finish in the triple jump, reaching a distance of 14.70m earning the Most Outstanding Field Performer award

Anthony Clavette earned All-Conference accolades in his first Outdoor Championships, earning the silver medal in the high jump after clearing a height of 1.92m

Victor Shapovalov wrapped up the men's All-Conference honorees, taking home second-place honors in the javelin with a throw of 61.23m

Uchenna Duru continued his record-breaking campaign, setting a new program-record in the discus with a throw of 46.61m to finish in fifth place

Dylan Murad wrapped up the men's individual point finishers coming in seventh place in the discus and shot put respectively
HARTFORD WOMEN HIGHLIGHTS
· The women's team finished in sixth-place, beating out Vermont, Maine, UMBC and NJIT to set the program's highest ever finish at the Outdoor Championships
· The Hawks finished with seven points finishers, including three gold medal performances
· Leading the way for the women was Lodge, who took home the Most Outstanding Field Performer award for the second Conference Championship meet in a row
· The senior took home the gold in the heptathlon, setting a new school record in the event (4754 points), while also breaking the programs high jump (1.76m) and long jump (5.68m) record
· Lodge wrapped up her weekend by winning the long jump after clearing a height of 1.72m and finishing in sixth in the 100m hurdles with a time of 15.46

Samantha Moravsky continued her dominance in the javelin, winning the event with a throw of 48.30m to earn All-Conference distinction

Olivia Rougeau took home the silver medal in the high jump clearing a height of 1.68m, while freshman
Sydney Garrison completed the Hawks sweep in the event, tying for third place with a height of 1.64

Robyn Krafft wrapped up the Hawks individual points finishers, setting a new program record in the discus with a throw of 42.73m to finish in fourth place

Haleemot Adeyanju took home the bronze medal after crossing the line with a time of 3:55.43
· The quartet also took home the bronze medal in the 4x100m relay, finishing in a time of 48.78

The Hawks head to Albany, N.Y., to take part in the UAlbany Spring Classic on Saturday, May 8. The meet serves as Hartford's last opportunity to set a qualifying standard for the NCAA East Regionals.
