Kymilondra Nance scored a career-high eight points as the Hartford women's basketball team fell 70-34 against Binghamton on Tuesday. The Hawks drop to 0-12 on the year while the Bearcats improve to 7-6.
BINGHAMTON 70, HARTFORD 34
Binghamton jumped out to an early lead over Hartford, starting the game on a 14-2 run. The Bearcats would take a 23-4 lead into the first break. Despite the two teams trading baskets throughout the second quarter, Binghamton would open up a 23-point 38-15 advantage heading into the halftime break.
After a low scoring third quarter on either side, Hartford looked to battle its way back into the game in the fourth, outscoring Binghamton 6-4 within the first two minutes of the frame. However, the Bearcats advantage would prove to be too much to overcome, as the Hawks would fall by a score of 70-34.
