HARTFORD 6, MAINE 4
Hartford got off to a hot start against Maine, putting two runs up on the board in the first inning. After Kelsey Galevich was hit by a pitch, Mara Sczecienski stepped up to the plate and blasted a two-run shot over the right field fence to give Hartford an early 2-0 lead. However, Maine responded with four answered runs, taking a 4-2 lead into the sixth inning. Chandler Mitchell stepped up to the plate and showed off her clutch ability, launching a two-run homerun, tying the game at 4-4. English stifled Maine's attempts at an answer, setting down the side in order in the bottom half of the sixth. Heading into the final frame, the game remained tied at four up until Emma Curry entered as a pinch hitter and nailed the Hawks third two-run homerun on the day, giving Hartford a 6-4 edge. With the inability of an answer from Maine, Hartford took game one, 6-4.

HARTFORD 4, QUINNIPIAC 0
The Hawks offense got to Quinnipiac's starter, Tori McGraw early on in the game, putting up all four runs on the board within the first three innings. Hartford's ace, Julianna Kocenski, helped herself out at the plate with an RBI single up the middle to bring home Olivia Wolk and take an early 1-0 lead in the second. Jordan Nastos was a constant threat at the plate for the Hawks as her and Haley Cassidy started the run parade in the third. Cassidy drew a lead-off walk before Nastos dug out an infield single to bring up Curry. Capitalizing on the excellent scoring opportunity, Curry dropped a single into shallow right field to clear the bases and give Hartford a 3-0 advantage. Immediately preceding Curry's bloop RBI single, Sczecienski continued her outstanding day at plate, lacing an RBI double over the center fielder's head to extend the Hawks lead to 4-0. Kocenski was able to finish off the sweep for the Hawks in game two against Quinnipiac after recording her second complete game shutout on the season, leading Hartford to a, 4-0 victory.
