Wenham, Mass- The Hartford men's and women's cross country teams continued its 2023 campaign traveling to Wenham, Mass to compete in the Commonwealth Coast Conference Championships. The Hawks were led across the line by freshman Keller Casey and graduate student Hailey Marcello  who each recorded top-25 finishes.

MEN'S RACE HIGHLIGHTS
- Casey, who paced the Hawks in all four races this season, was Hartford's top finisher with a personal-best time of 28:05.4 for 25th overallÂ
- Freshman Trae McIntryre was the next Hawk to cross the line, clocking in at 28:39.9Â for 37th overall
- Junior Jovan Joseph rounded out the top-three finishers for the men, crossing 39th in a time of 28:51.6
- Sophomore Mathias Nevin and freshman Jackson Sigda capped off the top-five scorers for the Hawks clocking in at 28:58.3 and 30:11.5 respectivelyÂ
- Freshman Jordan Spector clocked a time of 30:26.8 to finish the race 72nd overallÂ
- Sophomore Gulian Marconi clocked a time of 30:43.8 to finish the race 75th overallÂ
- Freshman John Kelly clocked a time of 31:26.0 to finish the race 82nd overallÂ
- Sophomore Steven Confesor-Chable clocked a time of 31:55.4 to finish the race 91st overall
- Roger Williams took home the team title after placing three runners in the top-10

WOMEN'S RACE HIGHLIGHTS
- Marcello continues to lead the Hawks across the line, finishing 5th in a time of 23:31.9
- Senior Abigail O'Connor was the next Hawk to cross the line, clocking in at 24:19.5 for 14thÂ
- Freshman Annie Gilman rounded out the top-three finishers for the women, finishing 30th in a personal-best time of 25:47.0
- Freshman Amelia King and Sophomore Chloe Coale capped off the top-five scorers for the Hawks, clocking in at 26:21.7 and 26:25.4, respectively
- Senior Sarah Kulpa and Sophomore Elizabeth White concluded the race for the Hawks with a time of 26:50.7 and 27:16.4 respectively
- Suffolk claimed first place in the women's 6k, finishing with a total of 44 points
