SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Hartford men's and women's track and field teams had outstanding performance's all throughout the field at Saturday's AIC Yellow Jacket Invitational. The Hawks saw 34 top-five finishes, one school-record performance and seven first place accolades.

HARTFORD MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- The men finished fourth overall in the team standings after tallying 14 top-five finishes, one school-record performance and two first place finishers.
- Sophomore Conor Convery shattered his own school-record mark in the hammer throw for the second consecutive outing, throwing for a distance of 49.79m for first overall.
- Senior Anthony Clavette took home the gold in the high jump after clearing a height of 1.80m.
- Sophomore Riley Brutvan finished as the runner-up in the 5000m run, clocking a time of 15:20.30 for the seventh fastest time in program history.
- The men's 4x100m relay team of sophomore duo Kaden Leonard and Brandon Edmund along with freshman pairing Spencer Beane and Isaiah Grupee combined to finish second overall.
- The quartet's time of 42.67 seconds marked the fifth fastest time in Hartford track and field history.
- Senior Uchenna Duru rounded out the Hawks top-three finishers in the discus throw with a mark of 44.24m.
HARTFORD WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- The women took home the team title after accumulating 159 points with 20 top-five and five first place finishes.
- Sophomore Marlina Voker continued her outstanding outdoor campaign taking home the crown in both the 100m and 200m dash with times of 12.76 and 25.41 seconds.
- Junior Abby O'Connor finished atop the podium in the 5000m run after clocking a time of 18:19.43.
- Senior Robyn Krafft threw for a distance of 41.37m in the discus throw to finish first overall.
- The women's 4x400m relay team of graduate student Haleemot Adeyanju, senior Hannah D'Orso, junior Molly McGrail and first-year student Elizabeth White combined to finish first overall in a time of 4:14.81.
- Sophomore Cali Leonard and first-year student Mariah Nichols finished as the runner-up in both the 100m and 400m hurdle events.
- Leonard in the 100mH clocked a time of 15.77 seconds while Nichols rounded the track in the 400mH in a time of 1:10.69.
