New London, Conn – The Hartford men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Silfen Invitational on Friday. The Hawks combined for three top-10 finishes along with five personal bests and two all-time performance on the day.

HARTFORD MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

Freshman Stephen Haney finished 33rd overall in the 800m run, clocking a time of 2:03.87.

Sophomore Peter Efinger concluded the Hawks in the 800m run, finishing 36th overall after clocking a time of 2:04.99.

Junior Parker Main finished 32nd overall in the 1500m run, registering a personal best time of 4:19.35.

Sophomore Mathias Nevin concluded the Hawks in the 1500m run, finishing 34th overall after registering a personal best time of 4:25.40.
HARTFORD WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

Graduate Hailey Marcello led the Hawks on the women's side, taking home the silver in the 3000m Steeplechase, clocking a season best time of 11:34.31.

Senior Abby O'Connor concluded the Hawks in the 3000m Steeplechase, finishing sixth after clocking a personal best time of 12:01.35, this time puts her fourth all-time in school history.

Senior Molly McGrail took home the bronze in the 800m run, clocking a personal time of 2:20.16, this time puts her seventh all-time in school history.

Sophomore Elizabeth White finished 12th overall in the 1500m run, clocking a personal best time of 5:07.86.

Freshman Amelia King finished within the top 20 in the 1500m run, registering a time of 5:23.91.

Freshman Annie Gilman concluded the Hawks in the 1500m run, finishing 21st overall after registering a time of 5:27.03.
