BIDDEFORD, Maine - The Hartford men's tennis team fell to 1-4 in Conference of New England (CNE) play on Saturday falling to the University of New England by a 6-1 final. 

Rapid Recap:

• The Nor'Easters took the doubles point winning #1 and #3 doubles groupings. Hartford would win the #2 doubles match as sophomore Jake Short (Poughquag, N.Y.) and freshman Eli Benoit (Plainville, Conn.) would win by a 7-6 (7-2) final. 
• In singles play freshman Thomas Andersen (Berlin, Conn.) would get the lone Hawk point winning #6 singles by a 6-2, 6-4 final. Freshman Yanke Simuyola (Dawsonville, Ga.) and freshman Jared DeGruttola (Auburn, Mass.) both were close to getting points falling in a third set to the University of New England.
