WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - The Hartford men's tennis team fell to Nichols College with a final score 6-1 at home this Saturday afternoon.

- The Bison defeated Hartford in a doubles sweep taking all three courts to build a 3-0 lead. Sophomore Anthony Pomares (Norwich, N.Y.) and freshman Yande Simunyola (Dawsonville, Ga.) nearly beat their opponent but fell short 6-4 in a hard fought match.
- Sophomore Jake Short (Poughquag, N.Y.) found the lone point for Hartford as Short powered through a strong performance winning 6-4, then again 6-4.
- Nichols closed out the afternoon taking the remaining singles slots to earn themselves the 6-1 victory.
