WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – On Tuesday, Hartford Head Cross Country and Track and Field Coach Connor Green released the upcoming 2026 cross country schedule featuring eight overall meets with two taking place at Keney Park in Hartford, Connecticut. 

"We are very exited for our upcoming cross country season", said Green. "With a strong balance of new and returning student-athletes, we feel it will be a great season. Being able to host two meets and stay locally for NCAA regionals makes this season very special. Our community will be out in full force supporting the Hawks!"

The Hawks cross country teams will be looking to build on their 2025 seasons were the men finished 3rd and the women placed 5th at the Conference of New England (CNE)  championships. This season Hartford has the unique opportunity of hosting the meet this season as Keney Park will host the conference championships on October 31st. Overall the Hawks will have five out of the eight meets in the state of Connecticut in 2026 including the NCAA Mideast Regional Championships taking place in Wickham Park in Manchester on November 14th. Compared to last season the Hawks had one distinct change as Hartford added the Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University which will take place on October 2nd.
