WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – On Monday, September 14th, the Conference of New England (CNE) announced its second weekly honor roll of the 2026 season, with Hartford senior Sophia Rebenciuc (Southwick, Mass.) earning CNE Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week honors.
Rebenciuc led the Hawks at the Third Annual University of Hartford Invitational, finishing 14th overall with a personal-best time of 11:45.8 in the women's 3000m race.
Rebenciuc and the rest of the Hawks will travel to the Robert Dowd Cross Country Course to compete in the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on September 19.

Originally founded in 1984 as the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) and reconstituted as the Conference of New England (CNE) in 2024, the CNE is an NCAA Division III Athletic Conference composed of 11 full member and five associate member institutions throughout the New England region.
