SOPHOMORE (2012):
Finished in the Hawks’ top-5 in three of five starts… posted a career-best time of 26:57.22 on the 8k course at the New England Championship… turned in a personal-record 5k time at the CCSU Mini Meet, finishing in 16:46.02… helped the Hawks to three top-five finishes as a team… named to the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll for achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
 
FRESHMAN (2011):
Competed in four meets in his first year as a Hawk…opened his collegiate career at the Trinity Invitational, finishing 48th with a 5k time of 18:51… finished 78th at the Ted Owen Invitational, posting a time of 30:22 in his first 8k race… posted a time of 30:03 at the New England Championship… set a personal-best 8k time of 29:56.8 to take 36th place at the Pre-Conference JV race… named to the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll for achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
 
BEFORE HARTFORD:
Ran four years of cross country, three years of indoor track and field and two years of outdoor track and field at Griswold High School … captained the team and finished in the top-20 at the Connecticut state championship as a senior in 2010 … ran a 4:30 in the 1600-meter distance as a junior during the outdoor track and field team … helped his high school team record its eight-consecutive Connecticut state championship as a freshman … also played two years of high school baseball and one year of high school basketball.
