Payment Plans
Payment plans are available for your convenience. You may choose to have automatic payments to give monthly, quarterly, bi-annually, or annually.
Gifts-in-Kind
Hartford Athletics accepts gifts of items or service (food and beverage, athletic equipment, air travel, etc.) that would normally be purchased to reduce expenses and are always appreciated! Subject to University approval and IRS regulations, the value of the contribution is credited to your account.
Matching Gifts
Many employers will match charitable contributions made by their current or retired employees. This is an easy way to double or even triple your gift. To find out if you or your spouse's company has a matching gift policy, contact your human resources or personnel department. If your company is eligible, please fill out the matching gift form from your employer, and send it completed and signed with your gift - we will do the rest. Estate Planning and Planned Gifts
You may donate to Hartford Athletics through will provisions, life insurance, trusts, estate, IRA, qualified retirements assets, commercial annuities and other bequests. Estate gifts may be made by gifting a designated amount, a real asset, or residual bequest. Securities and Non-Cash Assets
You may give securities and non-cash assets to Hartford Athletics. Securities and non-cash assets include stocks, bonds, mutual funds, real estate, life insurance, collectibles, or other securities. You may eliminate paying capital gains tax and receive an income tax charitable donation for gifts of long-term appreciated securities.
