University of Hartford Spectator Guidelines Athletics Events

The University Department of Athletics has updated its spectator policy for the Fall 2021 semester. This policy is subject to change at any time, so fans are encouraged to check this page prior to attending any event. Failure to abide by this policy will result in removal from the venue and campus.

Definitions
  • "Student Spectators" shall mean currently enrolled University of Hartford students who attend an athletic competition on campus.
  • "Guest Spectators" shall mean all other community members (parents, alumni, general fans, etc.) who attend an athletic competition on campus.

Outdoor Event Policy (Men's and Women's Soccer at Al-Marzook Field)
  • Both Student Spectators and Guest Spectators are permitted at Al-Marzook Field
  • Masks are mandatory for unvaccinated individuals (both students and guests) but are not mandatory for fully vaccinated individuals
  • To maintain social distancing, Student Spectators are only permitted to sit in the bleacher sections closest to the main gate at Al-Marzook Field, while Guest Spectators are only permitted to sit in the bleacher sections farthest from the main gate (past the press box). Directional signage will be provided.
  • Restrooms are provided near the outdoor snack bar. Guest Spectators are not permitted inside the Reich Family Pavilion or any other buildings on campus.
  • Guest Spectators may park in Lot M.
  • Admission is free for men's and women's soccer games.

Indoor Event Policy (Volleyball - Volleyball Gym inside the Reich Family Pavilion)
  • Both Student Spectators and Guest Spectators are permitted at indoor events.
  • Masks are required to be worn properly for the duration of the event by all spectators.
  • Vaccination status will be checked at the door for Guest Spectators. PLEASE BRING PROOF OF YOUR COVID-19 VACCINATION TO THE EVENT. Unvaccinated individuals will be asked to leave campus.
  • Guest Spectators are limited to two (2) guests per student-athlete competing in the event, and must be registered in advance through the coaching staff.
  • During tournament play, only Guests of the two teams on the court are permitted in the Volleyball Gym.
  • Student Spectators and University employees must show University ID upon entry.
  • All spectators must enter through the main entrance of the Reich Family Pavilion and have temperature checked upon arrival. Spectators will exit the gym through the far door and exit the building through the back lobby. Directional signage will be provided.
  • Admission is free for volleyball games.
