23HEAD Dante Hill

Dante Hill

Dante Hill enters his sixth season as an assistant track and field coach at the University of Hartford ahead of the 2025-26 season.

He put his recruiting and development chops on early display as his throwers – Kyle Moser (men’s indoor and outdoor shot put), Conor Convery (men’s weight throw and hammer throw) and Robyn Kraft (women’s discus) - have combined to establish five school records as well as 28 all-time top-10 performance.

Hill came to Hartford from Keene State University, where he served as an assistant coach at his alma mater for one season. During his time with the Owls, he cultivated a Little East Conference champion, who also qualified for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Additionally, another KSU student-athlete set a school record in the shot put while claiming a LEC title.

As a student-athlete at KSU, he shattered the program's shot put record. Prior to beginning his collegiate coaching career at Keene State, he worked as an assistant coach at Longmeadow High School, where he guided multiple athletes to Massachusetts State Championships.

Hill graduated from Keene State in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in communications. He also holds the USTFCCCA Throwing Event Specialist Certification. He resides in Agawam, Massachusetts.
