Biography

AT HARTFORD
2025-26: Matthews had a stellar freshman season for the Hawks making an appearance in 26 games from an important reserve role. Gabrielle ended the year averaging 4.9 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 19.3 minutes per game. Matthews had five double-digit performances in her first season. She had a huge game on January 10th against Endicott College scoring 12 points to go with five rebounds and three assists in a huge Hawk win. She added a career-high 17 points in the Conference of New England Semifinals at Johnson & Wales on February 27th.
