REDSHIRT SENIOR (2016)
Started all 51 games for the Hawks … scored 15 runs while hitting .257 for the year… Drilled two doubles as well as two triples … 18-for-21 on the base paths with a .340 on-base percentage … drew a team high 17 walks … went 3-for-4 in games against UMass Lowell on (4/23), scoring twice in the first game and scoring once and driving in one during the second game … went 2-for-3 with a double and a triple, scoring once at Gardner-Webb (2/20).
REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2015)
Played and started 45 of the Hawks’ 46 games … scored 13 runs and hit .216 for the season … delivered a .290 on-base percentage with two stolen bases … went 2-for-4 against Wagner (2/28) … had two hits and a walk against Rider (3/8) … reached base safely in six straight games from March 29 through April 4 … went 3-for-3 with a double and a run against UMass Lowell (4/19) … had a pair of hits with a run and an RBI against Maine (4/25).
JUNIOR (2014)
Started and played in 15 games in centerfield before suffering a season-ending injury against Rhode Island (Mar. 20) … prior to the injury, batted .302, recording 13 hits in 43 at-bats … had two triples, a team-high, knocking one in wins over Hampton (Mar. 2) and Princeton (Mar. 8) … added six runs and a pair of RBI … recorded three multi-hit games and had a four-game hitting streak to open the season … during that rally, batted 6-for-14 and combined to score five runs while adding an RBI … reached base safely in 10 games … drew a pair of walks … led the team with four sacrifice hits, all bunts … drew three walks … snagged five bags in six attempts … had 18 putouts and three assists … committed one error in 22 chances for a .955 fielding percentage … named to the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll for achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
SOPHOMORE (2013)
One of three players to start and play in all 55 games, setting the program record for most games played in a single season … made all of her starts in the outfield, playing 49 games in right field and six in left field … led the team with a .255 batting average, belting out 39 hits, second-most on the team, in 153 at-bats … combined for three extra base hits on one double, a triple and an inside-the-park homer … finished third in runs (22) and collected nine RBI … drew 11 walks … had 10 multi-hit games, second-most on the team … longest hitting streak spanned six games, the second longest rally for a Hawk on the season … during that hit streak, which started at Fairfield on Apr. 17, combined to bat 8-for-19 with three RBI … reached base safely in 43 gamesled the team with 18 sacrifices on one fly ball and 17 bunts, setting a new single season school record by passing Mallory Rapoza who had 16 in 2004 … with 0.31 sacrifice hits per game, ranked sixth among Division I softball players … during conference play, batted .302, the second-best mark on the team, while leading the team in hits (16) and walks (5) … knocked her first hit in a Hartford uniform at FIU, scoring one run (Feb. 23) … knocked her first double as part of a 2-for-2 effort against Villanova, scoring twice (Mar. 15) … batted 3-for-4 and scored twice in a 5-3 win over Boston University (Apr. 7) … went 2-for-3 and drove-in the go-ahead runs on an inside-the-park home run against Binghamton, a 5-3 win (Apr. 21) … tripled and scored against Sacred Heart (Apr. 23) … was successful in all but two of her six stolen base attempts … compiled a .882 fielding percentage, committing six errors in 51 chances … had one assist and 44 putouts … named to the America East Academic Honor Roll for achieving a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
BEFORE HARTFORD
A junior college transfer who came to Hartford after playing one season of softball at Western Texas College … closed out her final season at Western Texas batting .448, going 87-for-194 at the plate while recording 87 runs, 23 RBI and drawing 21 walks … struck out just 12 times that season … named to the WJCAC All-Conference Honorable Mention team as a second baseman and an outfielder … helped lead the Lady Westerners to a regional tournament appearance after posting the team’s best batting average and on base percentage … prior to playing at Western Texas, was a four-year varsity starter for the softball team at Guyer High School … led the team to four-straight postseason appearances, including a trip to the state tournament as a junior … played in the Junior Pan-American Qualifying games during the summer of 2010 in Bogota, Columbia as a member of Puerto Rico’s junior national team … in 2012, played for Puerto Rico’s Big League softball team which participated in the Little League Softball World Series held in Kalamozoo, Mich.
