Meredith Mesaris

Mesaris enters her first season on the women's basketball coaching staff in 2022-23, joining the Hawks as assistant coach in August.

Prior to Hartford, Mesaris spent the 2021-22 season as the assistant women's basketball coach at Dartmouth. Prior to her time with the Big Green, she spent five seasons as an assistant coach at Williams College in Williamstown, Mass.
 
While at Williams, Mesaris guided the Ephs to a 58-45 record in her five seasons. Her crowning achievement came in the 2019-20 season as the Ephs advanced to the NCAA Division III Sweet Sixteen for the first time since 2013.
 
Before Williams, Mesaris served as the assistant coach at Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas, for the 2015-16 campaign. At Hendrix she contributed to the Warriors 19-7 overall record and a third-place finish in the Southern Athletic Association. Mesaris coached both the SAA Player of the Year in Sara Dylsin and Women's Basketball Coaches Association All-America Honorable Mention Caitlin Kriesel-Bigler while at Hendrix.
 
Prior to beginning her coaching career, Mesaris played three seasons at the University of Scranton. A two-time WBCA All-American and 2015 CoSIDA Academic All-American, Mesaris was the leading scorer for the Lady Royals in each of her three seasons. She graduated magna cum laude in 2015 with a degree in management and a minor in coaching.
