Cali Leonard joins the Hartford Track & Field Coaching Staff for the 2025-26 Year.
Leonard capped off her Hartford career as one of the most accomplished hurdlers in program history, setting school records in both the 60-meter hurdles (9.08) and 100-meter hurdles (14.36). Her consistency and technical precision earned her USTFCCCA All-Region honors in the 100H, First Team All-Conference recognition outdoors, and a Second Team finish as part of the 4×100 relay. She was equally strong in the classroom, earning Academic All-District and CNE Academic All-Conference honors.
Now transitioning into coaching, Cali brings the same competitiveness, detail-oriented mindset, and standard of excellence that defined her collegiate career. Her experience breaking school records, mastering hurdle technique, and performing at a championship level provides her athletes with a knowledgeable, confident mentor who has lived the student-athlete experience and knows exactly how to develop it.
