Julie Bolduc

Julie Bolduc enters her third season with the University of Hartford softball program in 2025. She is responsible for the tutelage and development of the Hawks’ pitching staff.

Bolduc served as assistant coach/pitching coach and recruiting coordinator at Amherst College for six seasons, 2017 – 2022.  In 2017, the program won their first ever DIII Regional and Super Regional titles as well as their first   appearance in the DIII National Championship.

Prior to Amherst College, Bolduc spent seven seasons working with Molloy College and made two appearances (2010, 2013) in the NCAA Division II National Championships.

As an undergraduate at Adelphi University, 1983-1987, Bolduc led her team to two back-to-back College World Series appearances in her freshman and sophomore seasons. She was the first pitcher in NCAA history to pitch a Perfect Game in the College World Series against Utah State in 1984, in 1985 she led the nation in strikeouts (337), and that same year she earned the third-best ERA in the nation (0.24).  Bolduc earned both her bachelors and master’s degree from Adelphi University.

Bolduc is also a private pitching instructor and has developed countless young pitchers throughout the Northeast region.  She is originally from Southington, CT and now resides in Granby, MA.
