Kevin Nash

Kevin Nash enters his third year as the Director of Compliance at the University of Hartford in 2025, having initially joined the Hawks in October of 2021 as Assistant Compliance Director.

At Hartford, Nash oversees all compliance operations for the Department of Athletics, ensuring adherence to NCAA, conference, and institutional regulations across the Hawks' 18 intercollegiate athletic programs. His responsibilities include evaluating academic eligibility, enforcing rules and policies, and developing educational resources for coaches, student-athletes, and athletic administrators. He also manages the department’s graduate assistant program, playing a key role in mentoring future professionals in the field.

Before his arrival in West Hartford, Nash served as a Student Service Advisor at the University of New England’s College of Graduate and Professional Studies from 2019 to 2021. There, he supported course enrollment and program inquiries for students in health professions, in addition to assisting in faculty onboarding and training.

Nash’s experience in higher education also includes a two-year stint as a Data Specialist in the Registrar’s Office at Washington College, where he supported registration services, graduation planning, and data reporting for multiple campus departments.

In addition to his work in compliance and academic services, Nash has held roles in marketing and data support and brings a unique combination of administrative and interpersonal experience to his current position.

Nash earned his Master of Science in Leadership and Organizational Development with a concentration in Sport Leadership from Lakeland University in 2021. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Marketing from the University of Rhode Island, graduating in 2016.
