Nick D'Amato joins the University of Hartford Athletics as the Director of Recreation and Club Sports in 2025.
D'Amato joins the Hawks after his most recent role as Senior Assistant Director for Sports Programs of Campus Recreation & Wellbeing at the University of Massachusetts Amherst since 2019. Prior to this Nick was the Assistant Program Director for Intramurals & Tournaments at the University of Connecticut, and started his career in 2014 at Keene State College in the Office of Recreational Sports as the Coordinator for Intramural Sports & Sports Clubs.Â
Nick received his M.S. in Recreation and Sport Administration from Western Kentucky University in 2014, while studying for his masters he was also a graduate assistant in intramural sports at WKU. Nick earned his B.S. in Sport Management from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2012.Â
Nick is also an active NIRSAÂ professional member that has presented at the last three national conferences.Â
