Scott McOmber joins the men's lacrosse coaching staff ahead of the 2026 season joining in August of 2025.
McOmber comes to Hartford while also being the Varsity Assistant Head Coach / Defensive Coordinator at Suffield High School, where he has been since February of 2023. While at Suffield, the Wildcats have lowered the Goals Against Average from 11+ to 7.33, while also qualifying for the state tournament for the first time in 10 years in 2025.
McOmber is also a coach for the Connecticut Valley Lacrosse where he is a 2026, 2027 and 2030/31 coach.
Prior to joining Suffield in 2023, McOmber was the Varsity Defensive Coordinator at East Catholic High School from 2019-2022. While at East Catholic, Scott was also the Junior Varsity Head Coach.
McOmber graduated from Western Connecticut State University in 2016 with a bachelor's in Mathematics. Scott started college at Mount Ida College in 2011 where he was a was a two-year member of the men's lacrosse team.
