WEST HARTFORD, Conn.—The University of Hartford women's tennis team opened its fall home schedule Friday afternoon when it played host to Bryant. The Hawks fell to the Bulldogs by a final tally of 7-0.
 
Senior Ashley Harel led the way for the Hawks, playing in the No. 1 position for the first time this fall, Harel took a total of six games from Bryant's Marcela Brandao in a 6-3, 6-3 result.
 
The Hawks look to rebound at home when they host Siena in West Hartford on Wednesday, October 10.
