WEST HARTFORD, Conn. -Â The University of Hartford women's tennis team fell to Bryant University on Sunday afternoon by a 6-1 margin. Freshman Skyler Schaar led the Hawks with the lone singles win.
In the No. 3 singles spot, Schaar defeated Linnea Sjuberg, 6-3, 6-3, for her second singles win of the season. Schaar went on to team up with sophomore Katherine Long for the sixth time this season as the No. 1 doubles team dropping a close match to Ryan Brown and Marion Bouillin, 8-5.
The Hawks will continue dual match play Saturday, Oct. 11 as they travel to Siena to take on the Saints at 1 p.m.
