WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – This past weekend the University of Hartford Department of Athletics participated in the 2014 NBC Connecticut Health and Wellness Festival at the Convention Center in Hartford.

The annual festival aims to increase awareness of health and fitness and included demonstrations to promote the lifestyle. Over 20,000 attendees were able meet members of the women's basketball team, participate in cheers with the UHart cheerleaders and take pictures with Howie the Hawk.
