HOW IT HAPPENED:SET ONE:Tatum Jungsten led an impressive offensive attack for the Great Danes, as she delivered kills on each of her six attacks in the opening stanza. As a team, Albany committed just one attack error in the set and hit a stunning .632 in the process. The Great Danes also had a strong performance defensively, digging 10 of the Hawks' 21 attacks.

SET THREE:The Hawks and Great Danes came out in the third even, battling to a 7-7 score after a Modestow kill. But Albany took a timeout at that juncture and turned the momentum to build a 10-7 advantage. The home squad slowly built its lead up to six and maintained that to 21-15. The Hawks rallied for three straight points, the last on a
Rachel Moll ace, but Albany finished off the match with four straight points.
